Micro Center

My experience with Micro Center was good overall. I ordered my stuff online and picked it up the next day, no problem. Except at the Yonkers location, they're doing a lot of construction in the parking lot area, so if you're not familiar with that, it can be a little crazy. Otherwise, it was good.

I want to give a huge thank you to Andrew W. for the exceptional customer service he provided during my recent visit to Micro Center. He helped me exchange a faulty microphone and keyboard that I had previously purchased and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was how far he went to help me find the perfect setup for my gaming needs. Andrew took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, went into the warehouse to locate a product I specifically wanted, and even helped me discover a few additional products that completed my gaming setup and brought me closer to the level of gaming experience I was aiming for. Most importantly, Andrew treated me with genuine respect and professionalism. He didn’t make me feel like just another customer—he made me feel valued and truly cared about helping me find the right solutions. Employees like Andrew are the reason people keep coming back to Micro Center. Thank you, Andrew, for going above and beyond. Your dedication and customer service are greatly appreciated! 👏🎮🔥

Today’s experience at Micro Center was incredibly disappointing. I have built or purchased all of my computers through Micro Center over the last 15 years between the Yonkers and Boston locations, so this was a business I genuinely trusted. I returned a Corsair Vengeance RAM kit, part number CMK128GX5M2B6400C42, because I discovered I had been charged $4,199.99. The same exact kit is currently listed by Corsair for approximately $1,799, and I could not find any other reputable retailer pricing it anywhere near Micro Center’s price. Beyond the pricing issue, this kit also was not the best fit for my AMD build, as it is Intel XMP ready rather than AMD EXPO ready. To their credit, Micro Center honored the return. That is the only reason I am leaving more than zero stars besides it being the default to get 1. What bothered me most was the response. I even gave them an easy out by suggesting the price may have been a mistake or typo. Instead, the manager told me that memory prices have escalated in the current market. I agreed that prices have gone up, but this was not a small market adjustment. This was thousands of dollars above the manufacturer’s direct retail price for the same

My iBUYPOWER PC has delivered smooth and consistent performance since day one. Games run at high settings without stuttering, and the system stays quiet and cool even during longer play sessions. Boot times are fast, programs open quickly, and everything feels responsive, which makes it great for both gaming and schoolwork. What stands out most is how well the PC balances performance and price. The design looks clean with good cable management, and the components feel well put together. For anyone who wants a strong gaming PC without dealing with the stress of building one, iBUYPOWERis a solid and dependable choice.

If you are old enough to remember what it was like to go to a really cool computer store like CompUSA where are all of the cool tech computer stuff you jumped about buying was all in one place? Triple that feeling and you are in a micro center. For those of you who have never been to a place like that, this is your chance… They have literally every cool toy and gadget. From the whole line of DJI products to 3-D printers, every gaming controller known to humankind, all there to behold. This place is the chief example of why in person stores rather than Amazon deserve a place in our lives.
